The Facility

We have worked hard to design a facility that can provide the perfect balance of comfort and safety. We are located on the first floor of Missoula Community Physicians Center #2, across the parking lot from Community Medical Center Hospital. Our practice operates independently of the hospital but has quick access to a higher level of care when needed.

The MBC has three birth rooms, each with slightly differing themes. All three have large tubs, queen sized beds, and props for the birthing person including birth stools, balls, and slings. The MBC is staffed by your Roots Certified Nurse Midwives, RNs, and other skilled professionals. We have emergency medications and equipment and the ability to transfer quickly and efficiently to the hospital when needed.

Aside from the birth rooms, which each have their own tub and commode, the Birth Center has a shared kitchenette, a common waiting room, and separate spaces for newborn and lactation visits.
